Jacqueline Sogell
owner & teacher
Throughout my career as a professional dancer, yoga played an essential role in helping me stay strong, resilient, and injury-free—both physically and mentally.
In 2018, I completed my yoga teacher training. My first students were my parents. I introduced them to Sun Salutation A, recorded myself demonstrating the sequence, and encouraged them to practice two rounds each morning. After just eight weeks, my mother called me from a holiday and said, “Jackie, for the first time in ten years, I can lie on my stomach in the sun—because I can move my neck from side to side again.” That moment was deeply meaningful, and it sparked a desire in me to create a space where people without any prior experience of yoga could discover its benefits in a down-to-earth, accessible way.
I envisioned a space where my knowledge of movement, biomechanics, and mental resilience could come together—offering practical tools for both body and mind.
In 2022, we opened the doors to SANDBOX, offering open classes, corporate yoga, one-on-one sessions, and private events. The response exceeded all our expectations, and we are so grateful for the positive feedback shared by many (you can read more on our Google reviews).
Since then, the concept has evolved.
Today, SANDBOX is a fully private yoga studio, focusing primarily on tailored sessions for companies. My mission is to reach individuals who may not have tried yoga before—people who might not feel at home in the traditional yoga studios around Stockholm.
SANDBOX is a yoga studio for non-yogis— a space where everyone is welcome to explore strength, stillness, and self-awareness.
